Starting from the Bushhouse, it is an easy 30 minutes walk along the beach to reach the Palmarium – a private natural reserve on an peninsula. A local guide will take you through the forest and guide you to the lemurs. These friendly forest dwellers are free-ranging and tame. This makes photographing these normally rare species easy and rewarding.
